My Review

After reading the synopsis for Fixed on You, I was intrigued. Although it seened like a fairly predictable story-- sexy, rich guy encounters a "poor" girl (maybe with a troubled past) and makes her an offer she can't refuse-- there was a lot more to this story than that. As the story started to develop and I got a glimpse of Alayna's past-- stalking, restraining orders, etc-- I was a little shocked. Definitely a pretty serious issue for her to be dealing with! But I was definitely curious as to how that would play out. Then we get to know Hudson, and he has his own set of past demons to sort through. And they were equally as shocking.
I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced, hard to put down, and the story really held my attention. It was interesting to see how they each dealt with their respective issues and insecurities, and how they helped each other deal with their problems. The only complaint I have about Fixed on You is that I sometimes got fed up with the amount of sex taking place. That being said, I still couldn't pull my eyes away and those scenes sure were HOT. You'll need a couple of tissues, an ice-cold glass of water (or something stronger!), and a fan for this one! For those of you who enjoy a fairly emotional read with lots of twists and turns and plenty of steam, I definitely recommend this one.
